SectorRisk
Source discipline before the risk call. A local, deterministic engine that turns uploaded diligence materials into source-backed risk tables, contradiction flags, and audit-traced memos.
ProblemPrivate-market diligence is limited by relevance, source discipline, and repeatable risk classification — not by access to text. The hard part is turning fragmented diligence materials into evidence-backed risk briefs that another analyst could reproduce.
SolutionSectorRisk reviews supplied diligence files by risk category. It keeps each finding linked to a source passage, separates management claims from documented evidence, flags contradictions for review, and exports cited risk tables, diligence questions, and an audit log.
Implementation / progressArchitecture is Core Engine → Domain Packs → Workflow → Outputs. Retrieval is deterministic TF-IDF over PDF / TXT / CSV / JSON / MD inputs; upstream_energy is the complete first pack with a ten-category taxonomy, and chic_human_capital is a stub for future calibration. Python · Streamlit, no paid APIs. Where evidence is missing, the system reports “insufficient evidence” rather than inferring a finding, and every output requires human review.

Core Engine
Ingestion, parsing, chunking, retrieval, evidence polarity, scoring, contradiction detection, memo generation, audit logging. Sector-agnostic and reusable.
Domain Packs
Domain-calibrated taxonomies layered on the core. upstream_energy is complete; chic_human_capital is a stub. Pluggable.
Risk Review Workflow
Retrieve by category, classify polarity, separate claims from evidence, flag contradictions, then score severity and confidence. Deterministic.
Cited Outputs
Risk tables, diligence questions, a cited Markdown memo, and CSV / JSON / memo / audit-log exports. Audit-traced.
What is provisionalThis research build is under validation. The first pack (upstream_energy) is complete; additional packs — healthcare services, credit, banking, workforce — can be added without rewriting the sector-agnostic core, but are not built yet.
What it does not claimIt is an analyst tool, not an oracle: not investment advice and not a replacement for analysts. It does not invent sources, and every output requires human review.
